School Days Kit

About this freebie

Document your favorite classroom memories with the School Days Kit. This free digital scrapbook kit features a classic palette of paper white, apple red, pencil yellow, chalk green, crayon blue, and graphite. You get 6 background papers in 12x12 inch JPG format, including graph paper, plaid, and polka dots. The kit also includes 12 elements like a paper clip, a star sticker, and chalkboard labels. These supplies are perfect for school layouts and teacher appreciation cards.

Ideas for using it

1. Create a layout for the first day of classes using the chalkboard label and the notebook paper background. Add the doodle arrow to point to your photo.
2. Design a teacher appreciation card with the solid crayon blue paper and the A+ word art. Print the card to give away at the end of the year.
3. Make a graduation page for the class of 2027. Frame your favorite portrait and use the graph paper to give the layout an academic feel.

How to use it

• The 12 PNG elements already include a soft drop shadow. You can place them directly onto your 3600 x 3600 pixel backgrounds without adding extra layer styles.
• Use the My teacher journaling card to write down the name of your instructor. The JPG format makes it easy to add text in your image editor.
• If you are new to using digital supplies, read our guide on getting started with digital scrapbooking to learn how to open the 9.7 MB ZIP file.
• Everything in a kit shares one palette, so any paper works with any element in it.
• Elements already carry a soft shadow; on busy papers you can add a little more.
