About Free Digital Scrapbooking

Free Digital Scrapbooking is an independent resource for people who keep memories on screen and on paper. It relaunched in 2026 with all new supplies and guides.

What is here

104 free downloads with 1526 files: papers, kits, embellishments, alphabets, page templates, quick pages and printables, plus 41 tutorials and a gallery of example layouts. Everything is free, with no account, no newsletter wall and no download counter.

How the freebies are made

Every paper, element, alphabet, template and printable is generated by our own code. Patterns such as dots, gingham, plaid, chevron and florals are drawn procedurally, then given a light paper texture. Tags, labels, frames, buttons and flowers are drawn as shapes, filled with our papers and finished with soft shadows. Letters and word art are drawn from fonts under the SIL Open Font License. No files are copied from other designers or other sites.

How the guides are written

Tutorials are written from fact lists we put together from the software makers' own documentation and long standing scrapbooking practice. Programs change their menus between versions, so the guides say so where it matters and link to official help pages. If something no longer matches your version, please tell us.

The old site

A website with this name offered free supplies from the mid 2000s until about 2023. This relaunch is not connected with its former owners, and the old downloads are not available here. Old links now lead to the closest new page.

Ads and links

The site has no ads and no affiliate links. Outbound links point only to official software help pages and font licenses.
