About this freebie

The Doodle Arrows embellishment pack includes 10 hand drawn style arrows in ink and color. You get transparent PNG files saved at 300 dpi for clear printing. The palette features everyday shades of white, coral, teal, mustard, blush, and charcoal. These arrows have a soft drop shadow already applied to save you time. They work well for pointing out journaling or highlighting photos on your everyday layouts. Since they are small and casual, they fit easily into planner pages, greeting cards, and standard scrapbook designs.

Ideas for using it

  1. Point out a specific person in a group photo by placing a mustard or teal arrow right above their head.
  2. Create a visual path across your layout by scattering several arrows pointing toward your main journaling block.
  3. Use a charcoal arrow on a white background to draw attention to the date or location on a travel scrapbook page.
  4. Decorate handmade greeting cards with a blush or coral arrow pointing to a stamped sentiment or a small photo.

How to use it

  • These arrows already have a soft drop shadow applied. You can use them as they are without needing to add extra layer styles.
  • If you want to match a different color scheme, try recoloring digital elements using the hue and saturation sliders in your photo editor.
  • Resize the PNG files by dragging the corner handles in your software. Making them smaller keeps the 300 dpi resolution crisp for printing.
  • The 0.3 MB ZIP file downloads quickly. Remember to extract the folder before trying to drag the PNG files onto your canvas.
  • Elements are transparent PNG files: drag them onto a page above your papers.
  • Each element includes a soft drop shadow. Keep one light direction for the whole page.
