Summer Citrus Papers

About this freebie

These Summer Citrus Papers bring bright, refreshing colors to your digital scrapbook pages. The pack includes 8 papers with orange, lime, and lemon prints that feel like a cold drink outside. You will find patterns like suns, polka dots, gingham, and stripes in a palette of white, pink grapefruit, and deep green.

Each paper is a 12 x 12 inch JPG file at 300 dpi. The 3600 x 3600 pixel size works perfectly for standard summer layouts. These backgrounds are free for personal use and for cards you sell or give away.

Ideas for using it

1. Create a bright layout for your pool day photos using the watercolor wash paper as a base and framing pictures with the solid orange and solid lime papers.
2. Design a set of printable greeting cards with the gingham and polka dot prints. The pink grapefruit and deep green colors make excellent accents for summer birthdays.
3. Build a recipe page for your favorite cold drinks. Use the diagonal stripes paper for a bold background that highlights your lemonade or cocktail photos.

How to use it

• The ZIP download size is about 8.7 MB. Make sure you extract the folder to access the 8 JPG files before you start your project.
• You can resize these 3600 x 3600 pixel papers to fit different projects. Read our guide on page sizes and printing for helpful software instructions.
• The solid orange and solid lime papers work well for matting photos. Place a slightly larger square behind your picture to separate it from busy patterns.
• You can use the patterned papers to fill text or shapes. Select your shape layer and clip the JPG image to it using your software tools.
• Use the papers as page backgrounds, or cut blocks and strips by clipping them to shapes.
• The papers are 3600 x 3600 pixels, so they can be scaled down for 8 x 8 inch albums without losing quality.
